03 Sep Autumn jazz beneath Vesuvius

From 5 to 28 September, Torre del Greco will host the Voci d’Autunno jazz festival, an event that brings big Italian and international names to the stage.
This year’s programme is rich and varied, combining tradition and new sounds: from the power of Sax Gordon’s saxophone with the Luca Giordano Band to the intense atmospheres of Daniele Di Bonaventura, passing through artists of the calibre of Nino Buonocore, Mauro Ottolini, Leon Beal and the Southern Jazz Players and tributes such as “Viva De André”.

The closing of the festival features Antonio Onorato, performing on September 28th with his Neapolitan Avantgarde Quartet.
A guitarist and composer with an unmistakable style, Onorato will be playing on home turf in Torre del Greco with his unique sound that blends jazz with Mediterranean and Neapolitan roots. It promises to be an exciting finale, full of energy and musical fusion, the perfect way to wrap up a whole month dedicated to jazz in the shadow of Vesuvius.
