In the setting of the “Sala degli Atti Parlamentari” of the “Giovanni Spadolini” Senate Library, on January 23rd, 2026, Antonio Onorato was awarded the prestigious “Roma, Regina della Storia” Award (“Rome, Queen of History”) , promoted by the “Art Global” cultural association with the patronage of the Lazio Region and the support of Roma Capitale.

The award celebrates the artistic journey of the Neapolitan musician, who weaves Mediterranean, jazz and blues sounds with suggestions inspired by Native American cultures, and also highlights his intense latest participation in the JAZZ&IMAGE Live @ Colosseo Festival 2025 with the project “Neapolitan Avantgarde.”
